need help with resume! quick!
hey guys i saw an add in the paper today for a shop that needs a welder/fabricator-that part is no biggie, my whole resume is taylored to that type of work since i finished getting my ticket, but it says in the add that mechanincal experience is an asset, im guessing they mean like mechanics on vehicles since this is a spring shop. and im familliar with that stuff and i need to put that in my resume. im struggling to come up with 1 sentence saying i have experience with it, if anyone has any ideas or can lead me the right way please shoot, i want to get myresume to them asap....thanks
Derek

Go , and take another copy of your resume' with you. That way if they take time to talk to you they don't have to look for the one you faxed. And if by chance it didn't get there you will have one.If they don't interveiw you try to set a time to meet with the person who does the hiring. Also request a tour of their facility(shows interest).
If you get interveiwed, you may not get an offer right then but don't worry, just call the next day and thank them for taking the time to interveiw you. This will reinforce a positive image in the interveiwers mind. "Good Luck!!!"

tell them your interests in auto restoration, and what i don't know I'm a fast learner. and tell them you belong to a truck site thats the best this side of the mississippi, ok that might be pushing it a little, it sounds like you have already applied, I think PanelDeland has the best advice just keep at them, it shows your ambitious let us know how you made out. good luck Derek
