By the time you read this , I wil be driving it 'round L.A. doing the many errands I have to do this , my day off .
I added the usual Christmas Wreath but the illumination part failed after only 20 + years ~ jeeze , those crappy Chinese can't make anything good ! ![]() I hope all our Mid Western folks made it through the Blizzard yestday O.K. ~ I have not so fond memories of sliding around snow and ice slick rural New England Highways and Farm to Market back roads in well rusted pickups 50 years ago....... Chain up the rear wheels , fill the bed with filled sand bags or scrap metal and wish the heater core handn't burst from poor maintenance years before... FWIW , holding your foot against the rusted out toeboard to keep the snow & slush from hitting you in the face works really well but , the inevitable frostbite hurts much worse , thank God for hot coffee ! . ![]()
