Hey form titletown
For those that don't know... thats green bay WI! Well I'm not exactly a "noob" I've grown up around cars/trucks mostly corvettes. This is my first classic, I picked up a 69 short step.
All the body parts are there, except for the wood in the bed. Several misc. parts are missing. After getting it home and crawling around it for 2 hours I learned 2 things, there will be a fair amount of time spent hunting down random missing parts that don't show up in catalogs, and there was a previous resto. I will be fixing quite a few botched rust fixes, they look good until you really look at 'em. Over all I'm happy with my purchase, I want to be able to drive it while I putz with it.. soo a frame off is out of the question! heres a few picks, taken just as the first snow of the season was starting to fall, well it was more like frizzle! In the last picture does the frame look twisted? Once i get it running (it does, it just needs a battery) I will take it to a frame guy put her on the rack. This is the reason I'm thinking about boxing the frame.

Re: Hey form titletown
Love these 67-72 GM trucks, had a 72 Suburban for a while.
Good luck with it.
