Re: 67 bed
It's not quite as simple as cutting the holes, the marker light openings are stamped with a recess that the light fits into and attaches to. Its not impossible to do, just depends on what tools you have and what skills you have.

Re: 67 bed
Sell it or trade it but please don't cut it. They were one year only. This must be why you wanted the patch panels. What kind of condition is the bed in? Remeber though to offer to sell you must be a subscriber and list it in the classifieds.

Re: 67 bed
Classic Parts of America sells the shortbed patches from the middle of the fenderwell back, but the patches are 68-72 with the marker lights

Re: 67 bed
If I were you I would not cut them up.
there plenty of people wanting what you have and vice versa. I have seen pretty many 8 ft. beds on cl around your area(mid state) for cheap lately (there was a nice looking one a month or two ago for $150) that was on for a while(not sure if it still is). 8 ft'ers are pretty common whereas the 67 only bed is defintly not as easy too find.

Re: 67 bed
What if I took and cut the recesses out of a set of front fenders and welded them in. I could always undo it

Re: 67 bed
I'm not sure about selling now but if I find a 68-72 bed you are first in line. Maybe another member can chime in and tell me what its worth because I have no clue lol

Re: 67 bed
Somebody should trade ya. You might even wind up with a nicer bed because what you have is kinda rare. I had a short one on my 72, still had original wood, and still fairly solid. People will be upset if you cut that thing, but its yours, so you have to do your thing, but I'm pretty sure someone would love to trade for it.

Re: 67 bed
That appears to be the bed used in the light weight race trucks, very rare to have the bed floor delete.
