Tailgate Question
Do the CST tailgates, like theses, still have "CHEVROLET" stamped underneath them?

Re: Tailgate Question
Yes. All the original gates CST or not had CHEVROLET stamped in them. There are several threads on this forum that talk about it and offer up pictures as examples.

Re: Tailgate Question
If it's an original. If not it could be either one.

Re: Tailgate Question
You can buy an aftermarket tail gate with "Chevrolet" stamped in it but I don't recommend them either. They do not fit well at all.

Re: Tailgate Question
O.E. gates are much heavier,i wouldn't sit on an aftermarket tailgate. The body lines
won't match. ''Whether you hear cheering or booing,as long as you still hear noise, you still got it.'' Dale Earnhardt |
