Re: wheel paint
The only other color (besides black or white) I could see with the stripe combo like that would be the non-white body color (medium green?).
If you had a black truck, you could go for a red steel wheel for the old-school hot rod look. I wouldn't try it in this instance though, it would turn your truck into a rolling Christmas decoration haha.

I think Argent looks good, like what's on rallye wheels. Some trucks came with silver wheels.

Re: wheel paint
I'm a fan of body color, or white. Prefer white. Here's a few med olive C20s in both flavors, just for comparison:

Re: wheel paint
Where is the best source for argent paint? Also, some years the argent had a greenish tint to it. I'm not sure which years were which. I'm looking for the argent that is what I would call a smokey silver, no green.

Re: wheel paint
Went with the flat black for now. Thinking about that hammered finish that rustoleum has out. |

Re: wheel paint
I like the black, a lot..
Some eggshell/off white would look great too... But it looks great as it sits!

Re: wheel paint
Thanks, it made a huge
difference for a few bucks. Gonna paint the original bumper and put it back on. Silver, grey, mettalic, black, off white, dunno what color to slap on there. |
