67-68 doors F/S

$125 each plus shipping. I might add that I have NO SHIPPER for anything over 70 pounds. Greyhound laughs.
Great shape and complete.
Have another set that has a slight bend in the bottom corner. $75 each. also white

Greyhound seems to be the best way from what I have read on the board here.

67-71 are the same.. 72 has a screw at the wing window and the regulators are 1/4 " longer..

As for shipping, UPS only ships 70 pounds or less. Anyone interested in the doors will have to arrange their own shipping. I dont live near any larger shipper such as Yellow or Emery or Swift.

Wing windows are different on 67's, they have a bigger chrome plate where the handle attaches, wing handle is different too. Randy

I asked the Bozos at the Greyhound here in Grants Pass and they looked at me like I was totally crazy. He said he wouldnt lift a wrapped up truck door on to his bus.

One other difference I noticed with the doors on my 67 is that the door handle mounts are slightly different. My doors have an L-shaped bracket welded behind the bolt holes. This bracket lines up the bolts so that they enters the door handles pretty much horizontal. I found this out when I tried to mount new repro door handles. I could not mount them as the bolts on these enter the handle perpendicular. I had to rechrome the original door handles as I could not get the new handles to mount on the door.

Doors

Phillip, any chance of getting them down to Chico to put in the back of the 70 without banging around in the bed? Just a thought. Plus, I need a passenger 69-72 chevy fender. Aw hell, let's load up a semi load and have it hauled back!

Dang it!

Oh well. We'll wait until the next truck and you can load it up with goodies. I'm half temped on the 1/2 ton 4x4, but a little rich for me. Plus, I have to many other projects I need to get done!

I'm driving up toward Seattle next week. I could probably haul them back, I have to go through Chico on Friday to get home. I was thinking about the radiator support you posted as well.

DOORS

I appreciate your help ljbear. My guess is that the truck is probably leaving on a semi truck sometime in the next few days back here to Pa. It's to bad I couldn't have gotten something figured out sooner. Those are nice doors. I probably would have taken all 4, but it just isn't working out! Oh well. Thanks guys!

Im glad the truck deal went well. Its a great GMC. I would have liked to have had it myself. Im going to start work on my Cheyenne Super BB as soon as my new shop is finished. I just failed an inspection on my windows. They say too big. the approved plans say they are ok. The inspector can't read.
Bummer about the doors. They were just sitting in Chico for the past year until 3 weeks ago and I loaded them along with a bunch of other goodies up and brought them up here to sell. I didnt have a clue that it would be such a pain in the butt to ship them. They are a bit on the heavy side. I guess Cheyenne10 may be getting a deal on them..
take care and glad to help out on the GMC!

If the price is right!
Come on down! That 72 Cheyenne Super is complete with the orig owners manuel and Warranty plate, along with some 32 year old plate frames from Jim Seigal Chevrolet in Grants Pass!
It would make your wife very happy to have it in the driveway of that beautiful home of yours! Just a short drive on I-5 and it could be all yours!
