Re: Tri5 55 build
I was asking about the back? I'm running 20×10's out back and 9.5's up front.
Post some pics when you get the front together. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Tri5 55 build
I think my 8.8 is 59 or 60.. It's close maybe 1/2 inch from the fender lip.
my tires are a bit bigger 295/55/20. I have to remember i'm not building a dragger this time.. But it has to be as low as possible! goodluck! subscribed. |

Re: Tri5 55 build
Thanks man, they are Pace Setters long tube headers, I had to massage one a little, you need to make sure they clear the frame and K member also.

Re: Tri5 55 build
Tri5,
I copied your step notch design, but with more of an angle (60 degrees). Looks like you used less of an angle. How much of a notch did you end up with? Mine is about 4 1/2". It gets a little narrow at the top but the axel should not hit. |

Re: Tri5 55 build
Have you installed your airbags yet? Very interested in seeing what they look like on your truck.

Do you have any pictures of the radiator supports? What radiator hoses are you using?

Re: Tri5 55 build
Mike, I really don't have many good pictures of the bags now that I took the frontend apart and only found a couple of the rear that's really not showing how it looks but here you go.

Re: Tri5 55 build
I love the stance of your truck! did you install drop spindles on the front and lowered springs? My clip was welded in the "No Limit" way and sits really high.. just wondering what I'll need to do to get her sitting down about 4 inches.

Re: Tri5 55 build
ShaneHenryMusic,
My truck has air ride shockwaves in the front, I don't think it's low enough! I have and am going to install some drop spindles, just haven't gotten around to it. My clip was really butchered when I got it and a friend cleaned it up for me. Remember that your frontend will settle and drop some after adding engine/trans and cab to the frame. Tri5

tri5, your truck is sweet!....im a newbie at these...what year camaro subframe is it? 82-92? i just got a 56 and i was wondering if i should do a 71-72 c10 or a different frame from firewall forward. im wondering how much modification the 82-92 camaro would take.

Re: Tri5 55 build
Really enjoying your build Tri5, hey do you have any info and/or pics of your wishbone 3 link set up? angles, tubing used? bushings used? tubing diameter? ect... I am trying to decide the best rear suspension set up to use and would really prefer to build it myself.
