stepside questions

Anyone runnin a fuel cell on their stepside. I have the Summit 16 gallon cell. I went to install it under the bed on Saturday when I realized that the fuel cell cap sits right under one of the cross sills
Why didnt I notice before
Anyone else have this issue before? How did you fix it?
I may be runnin the fuel cell on top of the bed for a while.
A new look..novice-street? It sure wont look pro-street.

I cut away most of the cross sill to make room for the filler tube. I have heard of others doing the same.

I just installed the balzer tank in my truck last night (many pics and install directions to come) and I completely took mine out. I do have a wood bed though.
