Nice write up. I like that lift, hope to hear your comments on it once you have lived with it for a while.
On the concrete anchors - if one wants, there is an epoxy made for them that will increase the load strength. Probably way overkill, but something to think about... not that I want you to worry  The ad talks about storing the system... do you plan on doing that or keeping it in place permanently?
