might be the front or rear seal pushed out by overpressure in the engine , i read a few books about race enginebuilders and they didnt used those parts of the gaskets but put a big bead of a special kind of black siliconesealant in between the engine and intake , i cant remember exactly but i think they let it firm up a but before carefully seating the manifold on top , it sticks on both ends so it gives a stronger seal too , you still need breathers though or even those seals will break eventually

i got a job again and having fun at it too idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts |
