Ididit Steering Column

I would like to know if anyone with a 80s c10 is using a ididit steering column. I have seen a couple of trucks using a late 70s column and if so what would I have to change if anything.

Re: Ididit Steering Column

Never been impressed with aftermarket columns. The flaming river one in my dads 69 is niceish but naturally a giant gap between the wheel and column.
His elcamino came with an I did it I think.
The key was small and plastic and the ignition lock was held on by thumb screw. Great War to steal a car

Why do you want an aftermarket column? There's over a million of these trucks made. I'm sure there has to be 1 good one around somewhere

Re: Ididit Steering Column

I going to customize my truck a little with push button start and shaved door handles. The ididit come with the push button start and I also like the chrome look.

Re: Ididit Steering Column

Nothing wrong with Ididit or Flaming River. Ididit uses GM parts.
