Re: Steering column upgrade ??????

Welcome to the site lots of great info on here to help you along. Now while I am sure I havalso seen what your looking for the column your asking about is normaly wider where it goes into the dash by like a 1/2 an inch making that a problem to start off , then there is the key thing and the locking device to deal with. The trucks have alternatives to get to have tilt other than a factory tilt column if you must have one , they are even avaible new. The chevy and GMC van from 72 -82 had a column that could work and Motor homes up to year model 86 I know for sure cause I have one in a 86 motor home that looks just like the factory tilt truck column. All of these can be had fairly cheap although they are going up or so it seems but then again isn't everything?
