Interior floor mat

I'm re-doing the interior in my 1970 C-10. I need to replace the factory rubber floor mat.

I've seen a couple of versions at LMC, one at Year One, and another on one fo the other parts sites.

Anybody bought one, and can comment on the quality? This is not a restoration, so factory look isn't a concern, but I like the rubber flooring instead of carpet and want to stay that way.

Re: Interior floor mat

I bought the one from Brothers last year. For the cost of the repop rubber mat I would go carpet next time. Quality was not to bad but dimmer hole is off center and I do not like bare metal under seat, unlike carpet that covers entire floor

I saw one at LMC and the one at Year one cover under the seat too.

I just don't really like carpet in a truck.

Re: Interior floor mat

I bought mine last summer from board member Wes at http://www.classicheartbeat.com/. So far so good, fit & quality seem good. Some of the mats seem to rot quickly and I hope this one doesn't. I also got a new factory-style sound deadener set to go under the mat.

Now that you mention it..... Wes was out of stock when I ordered, and he had my mat drop-shipped from Brothers.

Re: Interior floor mat

So do those go under the seat or stop at the seat, I would not put carpet in a truck either just does not make any since.
Mine is fairly new and fit well but does not run clear under the seat and would rather have one that does.

Re: Interior floor mat

Goes under the front part of the seat, just far enough to drop into the 'well' under the seat. Available with or without 8 inch wide 'tails' that run along the door sill towards the rear of the cab. Mine has the tails like the original.

Available either high hump or low hump (4x4s all have high hump). Only hole is for dimmer switch -- you'll need to cut holes for the t-case lever and floor shift. Oh, and it has tiny holes up front to slip over the locating pins on the floor.

Re: Interior floor mat

I put one from LMC in my dads 71 gmc . It stopped just under the seat like stock. Fit and wore good. Not a daily driver, though. Had it nearly 10 yrs.
