73-87 Truck arm conversions?

Hey everyone I have a 75 C-10 Silverado and I want to airbag my suspension but I would also like to convert it to an earlier style 60-72 truck arm rear suspention. Does anyone out there know of any conversion kits to make this possible. I thought Porterbuilt was doing one but cant seem to find it on their website. I also know of the CCP setup but not sure if I like that one. I would really just like to be able to use some factory parts if possible.

I think Porterbuilt is the only company making one. I could be wrong...I have been before.

Whoops! It looks like CPP has packaged one listed as a 63-87 kit. I didn't read it closely but it would seem to my that if the frames are the same width at the crossmember then it would bolt in and you'd only have to sort a few things. Heres their link...

I was looking at that one too from cpp but I was wondering if anyone has used airbags with that setup cause all they offer is an assortment of drop coils

People use air bags in the stock spring location all the time. I don't see a problem with replacing the springs with bags.

Before you make your decision on the product, you should also ask about customer service. I think some research in that direction will help you make the choice.

I'm with N2TRUX on his point - just a little light reading from the forums might influence your thoughts a bit. One I ran across this morning.
