NOS grill outer sheel question

Hi,

I am looking at a grill shell for a 72 that the owner says is NOS. Is there a way to tell if the part is indeed NOS. The one on my truck is original but has several dents and scrapes. The one I am looking at is not in the original packaging.

Am I also right to assume if it is NOS it is worth more than the new repro's as long as it is in good condition?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge,
Mike

Re: NOS grill outer sheel question

You are correct. I once came across a guy selling a really good shape one for $200, but I didn't buy it for whatever reason
