Gimme Shelter...
.....I had been waiting 2 months for this to be delivered (just in time for the snow). It took my brother and I about 3 hours to put it up Sunday...as you can see I still need to hang the doors...

well I got a discount (I work at a Home Building Center...'connections')but it cost me $500 (Canadian) for the "Plus 12" Model, which means it's 12 ft Wide, 7 ft High, 25 ft Long...with Heavy Duty Tarp. Shipping is what killed me an extra 150 dollars...so total $650. Not bad for a temp shelter really, i wasn't ready to build a garage yet so this was the way to go.....

Well in their warranties they like to say it isn't designed to stay "untouched" all winter...reasonable maintaince should be done (ie. brushing off accumlated snow etc.) I won't be far from it most of the winter and I plan to "visit" my truck often so it will just be routine for me to brush any snow off well I'm out there...
If your looking for numbers I can't give you any cause they don't really give any...

Looks good, I saw something similar from http://www.tgeontario.ca/Main.htm. They wanted ~$800CAN for a 12'x24' one, supposedly they are meant to take some snowload.
I want to get one of their 30'x60' ones to put next to the shop, $4000CAN. Ron

I got one of those in the summer for my truck, cept it looks different and its white. Make sure to achor it to the ground, I used straps and dog leash ground screw in thingys. Mine isnt rate for snow load and we had some heavy snow here on Monday, I had to come home from work and take the snow off of it, it was caving in a bit. One thing that I did was drill hole and put bolts in at every slip joint where the pipes go together, just in case the poles slip out in heavy wind and fall down on my truck.
I guess this winter will be the test, I only paid $300 CDN for it, just hope it last a couple years. |

The reason mine is grey is cause I went with the heavy duty tarp which only came in grey? Thanks for the pointers...I've already achored it to the ground but I'm not finished yet when I'm done with it hopefully it won't go anywhere...

Not sure, they fairly thin walled piping, maybe 1/8" wall, 2" diameter. It was nice not having to run out in the summer with blankets every time there was a chance of hail. Now my only worry is that somebody has a nice place to hide while they break into my truck.
