'63 bed on a '65 frame?
Have an opportunity to buy a '63 bed in good shape to put on my '65. My father and I put a '62 bed on the '65 I had in H.S. with some modifications. Assuming this will be similar?
Just weighing the options before I present it to wifey, we know how that goes... '70GCStep 1970 GMC Stepside 1965 C-10 lwb bbw custom cab |

Re: '63 bed on a '65 frame?
Thanks for the message. I wasn't thinking too much or any at all problems but thought I'd throw it out there.
Sounds good. We'll see what wifey says. She know a little too much though sometimes being daughter of a former body guy... '70GMCStep 1970 GMC Stepside 1965 C-10 lwb bbw custom cab |

Re: '63 bed on a '65 frame?
The 60-62 frames are wider in the back half.
The 63-66 are the same. So, your 63 bed should bolt right up to your 65 frame. Posted via Mobile Device
