Oh this one's yours?

I've been collecting pictures for the past few months for inspiration. That's too funny. Seems like it's fairly easy to get good deals on this stuff. As others have said, not many Inline 6 lovers out there.

Today was a hoot and scoot to the junk yard before it got dark, and before the temps drop this weekend.
Been 20 above and snowing here past 2 days, but supposed to drop to 40 below this weekend.
Gotta get while the getting is good you know?
20 above? That's about as cold as it gets here! I can't even fathom 40 below. Haha! Thanks again man.

Re: 64 C10 - This Rat's a Keeper!

I assume you know about this site:
http://stovebolt.com/
From what I have seen they are pretty much the IL6 gurus.

My Tempest has a OHC6 in it, so that is yet another, and totally seperate bunch from what you are going to find at stovebolt. Good luck on your build, there are actually quite a few of them here. (as you probably already know)

Don't wanna hijack your thread, but I'll answer since it's my motor in the pic.

I hope I don't get kicked off the board for this...but its Duplicolor New Ford Gray.

In my defense, it was supposed to be Alpine Green, but they sent me the wrong can after a can failed on me and wouldnt stop spraying when I was painting my now dead 327. Somehow the batch number I sent translated into New Ford Gray instead of Alpine green. I actually really like the gray though.

I like that gray a lot better than the Krylon Pewter I am using in my build. In the photos yours actually looks gray, while mine comes out looking white....

Ha if she didn't support it that'd be bad cause her whole family is into classics or racing.

Thanks Cody - been a while since i've been on the forum. And yeah, you're right, the whole family seems to be into something with an engine all the time.

Not much done to the truck lately folks. Drove it about 15 miles this week and it did fine. No flames

Still batting around the idea of a 2bbl conversion. Got the choke cable from McMurphy and will probably just leave the stock setup for a while. Blower fan isn't working, probably the switch since I put a new blower motor in already. Needs wiper arms and a muffler pretty badly.

Been too busy dumping money into the house, 96 formula, and 09 vstrom to have any left over for this old beauty.

Love this truck and what you're doing.
We need to get some Charlotte guys together and cruise these things
A convoy of nostalgia and rust. I'm into it.

On the inside of the cab, where your heater duct comes in from the fan at the fire wall and back behind the heater flue just where you cannot see it, should be mounted your heater resistor.
You may want to check this to make sure it is not damaged.
I am not 100% sure, but I think if this is messed up your fan may not work.

Glad you got the cable!

Its Ok if you dont work on your truck every day like some of us mad men do..... but its even better if you check up on us from time to time !!
