Wiring up halo headlights
Just got a pair of these headlights a few days ago. I was wondering if anyone knows how to wire up the halos on it. I want to wire it up to the parking lights. it has two sets of wires for the halo...a white and black wire for the halo bulb and two small white and red wires that connects to the halo ring itself.

Re: Wiring up halo headlights
Four wires? I would just splice them in the running lights. And run the ground to the chassis

Re: Wiring up halo headlights
These are pics of one of the lights. You can see one set of wires go to the small blue bulb inside the light and the other set are for the ring itself. they all have connectors at the end of em

Re: Wiring up halo headlights
Ok I see the small blue bulb is called a drl (daytime running light) if its blue you risk getting pulled over. But the bulb color can be changes easy. All it does is make the whole housing glow blue but doesn't emit any light to drive with its just so the ever increasing amount of morons that drive can see you better when the decide to pull out of a parking lot and across to lanes into your truck.
The halos can be wired to the drive lights and then you can wire the drl's with the driving lights with a switch or a seperate circuit Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Wiring up halo headlights
I never got them to flash with my parking lights,
i did them to the side markers and they wouldnt flash with the headlights on, when the hazards or the runs signals the halos would flash, but with the headlights nothing here a pic

Re: Wiring up halo headlights
Three wires to the turn signals. One is constant and the other is switch for making the blinker brighter.
