yeah pretty much. the spacer I used is phenolic, its like a composite material. that one looks like plastic, but still better than aluminum. Mine is open spread, which I have heard the four bore ones like this are pretty good to, give the fuel a more direct path, since its up a bit higher it has a chance to get sprayed around a little I guess. Either way, I can guarantee those two things will help. I've got my fuel insulated from pump all the way to carb. Oh and my visors are kinda like yours, they just don't seem right do they? I haven't really played with them too much, I just shuv them into the roof.
