missing parts on my seat brackets?

Went to take my seat brackets off and clean/paint them and noticed a wire on one of them... it keeps the track from sliding right off...

Curious if anyone had a pic of their bracket to see the parts that I am missing so I can try and find them.

Thanks for reading.

Re: missing parts on my seat brackets?

You are missing the small spring and the little piece with the eyelet in it just like the driver's side bracket. They go on the piece the twist tie is through.

Edit: You will also need the rod that connects the driver's side with the passenger's side at this location. Here's a link that shows this on a bucket seat. Should generally be the same for the bench seat. See post #7, pictures 4 and 5.

Perfect. Makes sense now with the pics! Now to try and find these... seems the manufacturers don't make any replacements...

Thanks for the help.

Re: missing parts on my seat brackets?

There was a thread on the forum a few months ago where someone was looking for some of these. As a result, I collected a few sets from my local junkyard. I'd give you a set, but they are in Wisconsin and I'm in Arizona. If you can wait 3 months I can send them. Don't expect you want to wait though...

Really appreciate the offer. Might take you up on that. I am building back up the truck and taking some time. Too bad you didn't bring them with you to AZ, I could have drove over and got them. Lol

Wish I had all of it so I can work on it! I'm bored here, and it's too cold there!

I didn't get the rod that connects side to side, but they'll probably still be in the junkyard when I get there. Safe top assume you are dealing with a bench seat?

If you are in a hurry, you might want to contact forum member T Korinek. He's in Mesa and just might have these parts. I may be able to dig up his phone number and PM it if interested.
