Currently i'm restoring a 70 chevy alot like this one and was wondering how shifting is with hurst matic you have in the floor?, if its dual mode is it easy to bumpshift in that position and if not coud you see it being easy?

sorry it's taken so long to get back to you .
the hurst shifter works OK an was only temporary ! in my opinion it sits to low an is awkward to use , but it does bump shift nice !! especial when your foot is into the carpet !! going to put a lokar shifter in the spring as it will be easier for the wife to drive ! ya I said wife finished build last summer an she never drove it once ! ha ha an I heard about it every time we went out on a cruzzzzzzzzz owell kept the old truck dent an ding free ... |

As to your question on the Lokar shifter, All their stuff is top notch.

Beautiful Truck!! Very well done. If you dont mind me asking, where did you get your steering wheel? There is a place on Ebay that sells them with the adapter kit for a little over 100 bucks. It looks like one of them. If so, were you happy with the quality and fit?
