reverse issues .. HELP

every time i put my truck in to reverse .. it jerks real bad any ideas why ... Thanks in advance

bad u joint

to high of idle

slop in the rear differential [just a few things to check]

Check your fluid level, too. Too much or too little can cause a wide variety of abnormal conditions of operation, with none of them having favorable outcomes.

Also, motor mounts and/or carrier bearing- slop there can allow harsh engagement issues.

Might also want t check the carrier bearing.
