SBC Block Codes

I have a SBC 350 in my '53 Chevy truck. I am trying to find out what year it is. The numbers on the block are GM 41, 3970010, V0108TEM, T47508043. I guess I can buy a book from Summit Racing that gives these codes but thought that I would ask you guys first in case someone has this book. I would like to find out what all of these letters and numbers mean. I am guess that the GM 41 is the mold no.Thanks.

Re: SBC Block Codes

Actually the TEM should be TFM. I will rephrase what I have found.

There are two nos. at the front: V0108TFM and 197508043

At the the rear above the transmission there are three: GM41, 3970010, A39.
