1" wood carb spacer
i installed my 1"carb spacer, i noticed an improvement while use the 2bbl but when i kicked in the quads i didnt really notice a difference, it just seemed like my 2bbl was more powerful i might keep it on but right now my throttle return spring doesnt pull the throttle back all the way its really annoying with the rpms up bout 200-300 more.

be careful with that spacer and a stock return spring setup!!!! when i put the QJet on my 355 i had in my C10, i installed a spacer and used the stock return spring. first time out i matted it, and promptly had to kill the ignition, as the geometry wasnt right and it pulled to to WOT and would not return. i made my own throttle return spring brackt that mounted to the valve cover bolt.

I hope that the term "wood" is a brand name and not the product.....

yeah, the wood insulates the carb (or Throttle body) from the heat of the intake and therefore cools the air going thru the carb, and MORE POWER!!!

Thanks for the education guys.....I figured the wood would be saturated with gas and have a problem......
How about a pic of what the install looks like.......?
