lets see your 81-82 grilles please.

I currently have two projects going, the first is an 82 K5 Blazer which will be done in the next few months and the other is an 81 C-10 short box that will be done by next year if all goes well.... the Blazer has dual headlights and the shorty has single headlights..........With that said, I have always liked the 85 horizontal grille versus the vertical 81-82 grille and have been contemplating putting the 85 grille in but would like to see pics of your 81-82 front ends first........Recently I've been thinking of leaving it true to the year and sticking with the 81-82 grille. My shorty has no grille and the Blazer grille is painted red so I'd like to see some in the grey / chrome colors. Thanks in advance.

I like the 82 grille but I like the 85-up better. I'll be switching soon.

How about stock grille/Bezel in Chrome?



I never got completely done with it cause it was a bit time consuming using steel wool to remove the grey paint. I am sure there are paint removers that would work better but I didn't want to damage it

This is on my 82 and I believe only the 81-82's had the chrome under the paint.
