Head stripping
Is there a way I can strip the paint off of my heads without removing the heads from the engine??
I would like them to have the same finish as my new performer intake. I will be doing this in my garage at home and am wondering if anyone here has attempted this???

are they cast iron heads? are you planning on painting them aluminum?..If you strip the paint off..the iron will rust quickly..Clear paint will yellow..painting them redneck chrome(aluminum) would look closest

What color is the block? I've always like the look of a Chevy orange block, flat black heads with cast aluminum valve covers, and a cast aluminum intake myself. Just a thought.
