Took Some Pictures Today... Got a Question for you guys?

Took some pics of my 72 today, havnt really got into everything on it. My question is, since im not near a expert on these trucks, if yall see anything that stands out to you on this truck? I mean like any options that wouldnt be on a standard truck that was just for work back in the day. The picture with the glove box options has blue vinyl trim? Thanks guys...

What are you asking for exactly, for everyone to point out what is not OE specific to your year truck for the purpose of restoring to original style?

Looks like a solid rig that has the typical modifications a truck accumulates over it's life.

Re: Took Some Pictures Today... Got a Question for you guys?

Im lookin for anything that was factory . Like how you could choose to have a/c or other options. Is there any options on mine that wouldnt be on a standard truck. I know that this truck has tons of things thats not original. (aftermarket steering wheel, posi track, gas tank relocation, radio, b&m shifter, alot more) The only thing i see that would stand out to me is the blue vinyl trim? What and where would that have been? Thanks

Re: Took Some Pictures Today... Got a Question for you guys?

It's a nice little truck, but appears to be pretty standard to me. The inside of your glovebox door is blue, and the SPID mentions blue trim. So, to me this would indicate that either you have a glovebox door from a different truck, or your truck was painted red. Also, the inside edge of the drivers fender is blue, which further supports the theory your tuck was blue. Does the vin on the glovebox SPID match the vin on the plate on the drivers door panel?

It was originally blue but the owner before me painted it red. Mustve been a long time ago cause its not to good of paint now. All numbers match. Im thinkin of once i get all my mechanical dreams satisfied im gonna take it back to a nice blue.

That's a nice little stepside..very much like mine. Are you doing a total resto on it ? What size rally wheels & tires are on it now ?
