Cab floor sheet metal gauge?

Finding a ton of smaller rust through spots on my newly acquired 72' 1500.

Whats the oem gauge for the sheet metal in the floor, rockers, etc.?

Should be 19 gauge. Replace with 18 or 19.

An old hood or panel to cut up is the best sheetmetal you will find.

Re: Cab floor sheet metal gauge?

I got a set of used oem doors, might cut up the originals to get some steel outta them. Thanks!
