Thanks Buck. I just installed the column cable shift from Lokar last weekend but had a little trouble getting things dialed in. Does your shift indicator on your column match up pretty well to the actual gear that you're in? Mine seems to be off a bit with the cable, but it may just need more adjusting. Or maybe I should just get the solid linkage as you did. Thanks.

No, mine is only correct in Park and Drive. I think I could get it pretty close by adjusting where the pushrod attaches to arm on the transmission, but I am just not that worried about it. Maybe someday i'll spend some time on it.

I saw where a guy lengthened the arm on the column to get his to be in the correct position on the indicator, apparently it works, however I don't know if there is a "correct" way to do it and if that's it or not, that's up to the engineers to argue over.
