In a bad spot, need help

I need to find a running truck, any condition as long as it runs decent. My better half lost her job a few months ago and needs transportation to find work, my income pays the house rent and bills but we still need to eat. A friend was supposed to sell me a 64 Dart but backed out. I don't have a lot of money and I'm desperate. I figured I'd ask you guys (whom I can trust) first before buying a $500 car out of the trader. Any info is appreciated.

Sorry about the finances!!! We may be in the same boat shortly. Anything I know of for sale would cost more to come get it than it's worth!! Hang in there, man!

Dion, I would keep asking family and friends to keep an eye out for you. I don't know if you have any auto auctions near you but I have always had good luck buying and selling auction cars. Something should turn up. Good luck.

Had to sell the Monte, I'll never get over that one.

Pretty much any running car/truck would do, the only reason I was asking first about a truck is so somewhere down the line I might have another project.

Thanks guys.
