Thanks all for your thoughts and advice, it's much appreciated. I think I will wait on the tires and wheels. So what do you guys think about this (to give me plenty to work on):

1. Buy 700R4 tranny to aid in mock-up. It's got the 350 that came with it, so I was just going to use that for mock up until I buy the 383 when ready.

2. Buy brakes to allow mock up of brakelines.

Nate - see pics of big_Al's pickup below for approximate ride height (one is at his ride height and the other is at his aired out). So something around these but level. I've spoke with you and Dave once or twice but will be giving you a call in a week or so to finalize and order
