VIN# locations on a 69 GMC
I was wondering where the vin#'s would be located on my 69 GMC C15. I know the tag in the driver side door opening, but are there any other places? I'm wondering because I'm thinking about swapping to a different cab that has less rust and I'm not sure how that would work with multiple vin#'s. Thanks for the help.

i think they are located in the driver's side door jamb on the vin plate, also on top of the drivers side frame rail next to the engine and last but not least, it should be on the glove box option sheet.

I have found that not all GMC's had a vin on the frame, but if it does it will be on the driver side frame rail (on the top) just behind the steering box and one midway under the cab
