Need some rear end help quick if possible

I have a truck that is stamped TDE0827-K. There are 12 bolts in this rear end however is does not look like a typical GM 12 bolt according to the mechanic working on it. Can anyone help de code what this rear end is?

Stock original rear end?

If it's stock original... It's a 12 bolt truck rear end. Maybe your mechanic has only seen car 12-bolts. There are subtle differences.

Re: Need some rear end help quick if possible

TDE is the code for a 3:07 truck rear end. The only way I know to tell for sure is the dia of the pinion shaft.

What does your mechanic think it might be?

Measure it from the back side of one backing plate to the other and post the length.

I think it's a truck rear end. Sounds like it to me. Leafs or Coils?
