Couple of old instrument bezels

Here is a nice original 67-68 dash bezel with one repaired crack to the low right of center by screw hole, it is in great shape. The other has great wood grain from a Chevenne Super. $40 SHIPPED ON EACH ONE. 1st (I'll take it) gets it.

Here you go. The crack was super glued back together. A little fresh paint over it and you won't be able to see it, that is the only crack on the bezel, it is about an inch and a half long

Re: Couple of old instrument bezels

What are the chances of you detailing the 67-8 bezel with some fresh paint and cutting a hole for the throttle option like mine? I will take if you can make that happen

Let me see if its still available when I get back from vacation in 2 weeks. Wife will kill me if I spend $100 before. Thanks Les. Would you take a few good instrument clusters in trade?

Re: Couple of old instrument bezels

Here are the pics of what I have Les. The gauges are so so and not the shining star but the tins are in super great shape with zero rust issues. One of the lenses is really nice while the second one is close but not as nice and the third would need a bit of work. Let me know what you think.

Re: Couple of old instrument bezels

I have some nice gauges, and a nice inner vacuum tin (not a tach tin, but I am sure you could fix that!), if you are interested in a trade. I would trade for the bezel as it is now. If you want to hold it for Shawno, or are not interested, no problem either.

Re: Couple of old instrument bezels

Thank you so much for the offer but don't hold it on my account. If its still there when I get back we can talk then, in the meantime if someone needs it by all means let them have it. It's a good price as it stands.

How about your vac tin and a nice oil and temp gauge? Is asking for too much? Do you know what color silver paint was used to these bezels?

Re: Couple of old instrument bezels

Les- here are some pics. I have 2 of each to choose from. All are decent, the only bummer is the red has faded on both temp gauges. One of the oil gauge needles had the tip touched up, and you can see it in the close up. The vac inner tin is in great shape. Let me know if any of this stuff works for you. If not, no problem. I do not know the correct color to repaint this bezel...I figured I would research it and find out later.
