Re: What would you trade it for?

I recently traded my 71 K20 for a 62 Ford Unibody. I'm totally happy. Id trade my panel project away for the right car. Problem with this is I'm in to it way more than a person would trade or pay since it is a project.

No vehicle I have ever owned has been sacred enough for me to want to keep forever. Sure there were a couple Id like to have back now that I'm older, but to buy another one now would be ridiculously expensive. I dont have a dream car ... I'm just an old car/truck junkie =)

Re: What would you trade it for?

I'd trade my 72 to get the 70 Charger R/T I spent 6 years restoring and sold in 1993

Re: What would you trade it for?

Oh what tough question. I'd probably (maybe) trade mine for a small cabin in the Rockies and a decent peice of land.

Re: What would you trade it for?

I have had this thread pulled up for several minutes, trying to think of exactly what I would trade for. I was extremely lucky in years past and owned many of the cars that we all still lust for. Since Im building this truck to someday give to my grandson I cant trade it---but if I could, The one car Id like to have again is a 67 chevelle malibu (not ss) with the factory 325 horse 327, 4 spd, posi. Loved that car!

Re: What would you trade it for?

I DID trade mine --------- for the cash for a couple months worth of bills for my family, when we were bottoming-out financially after my real estate business failed. Things are getting better now, thank goodness.

Regrets ? Not even a second. Trucks are just trucks, and there can always be another one someday, but your family is your world.

Re: What would you trade it for?

Wow...good question, let see some considerations:
1) mid 60's Stingray...1965-67' (NON convertible, small block, 4 spd only)
2) 62' to 64' SS Impala (409- 4 spd)
3) 65' Olds 442 (4 spd)
Don't get me wrong....I love my truck, but I know I always have 'more love to give' and would...on these cars as well.
Plus, I've never had a classic car...always been a truck guy so I'm interested in considering a little bit of a 'change up'n the fleet.
All Good

Re: What would you trade it for?

I would trade my truck for my old '69 Chevelle (SS396, 4-speed, Silver, Black Vinyl Top, Black bucket seat interior). About the only other one I really miss is my '70 Olds W-31! Oh, the stories that Chevelle could tell!!

Good for you. Family always comes first and sometimes we have to make sacrifices to take care of family. I have been in your shoes and I promise you with a little determination, you will have your truck back.

1969 black Z/28 Camaro.

My first car (not exactly-it was blue and a Z/28 clone)and like an idiot I sold it. Love my truck, but those 69's are B-A-D!
