72 LWB Hello

long time stalker with a new truck, just introducing myself and my 72. Slowly cleaning up a driver with plans of a big block...... eventually. Right now shes pretty much stock with the 307 but the interior is changing quickly

Hope i can post the pics right

Coming home, runs but no exhaust.

Dirty

Cleaning up nicely

Re: 72 LWB Hello

More pics, sorry about the size. Plans are white and black with as little chrome as possible.

Had to get new keys and locks all around since the PO lost them.

Re: 72 LWB Hello

Just an update, decided against the big block but bought a 400 bare block "509" casting that I'll try to put together over the next few months. No more pics but the interior is fully painted black and white. Rattle can job but looks pretty good. Really need to find a good machine shop in Alabama, I'm from Atlanta and don't know much about the Birmingham area even though I've lived here a couple times due to work. Only rust I've found is all by the battery tray but includes the inner fender and radiator core support. Hopefully I can put more pics up soon.

Welcome to the site. Nice looking truck, it's amazing what a good bath will do to bring out it's good looks.

Welcome and congrats on your 72. It looks like a good fondation to start with.

Plenty of good people here to help you when you need it and don't forget to check out the parts board for any parts needed.
