Problem under load,up the hill.

Gents...
3/4 70...stock 350/350,smooth enough.
up a stretch a hill under load my ol' work truck has a serge/hesitation,
only under load now that I changed all filters and added an extra one under the frame rail for good measure.
has a quadrajet carb, looks like my primaries are good,secondaries got some kinda linkage flaw,
did a bit a quadra youtube rebuild study but I'm in need of this truck for a job I've been on,no time to try an diagnose carb problem with carb off truck.
Don't suppose no pictures for you is going to help this situation either.
what do you need to see?
Other than that bit o'hesitation,truck is responsive,idle slows as truck comes to a stop..very smooth,excellent runner.
I drive the truck like an old timer,slow and steady in an old town,work local.
couldnt ask for a more reliable 3/4 ton pickup,I love this old damn thing.
Christ,maybe one of you out there will meet up with my truck in a parkin lot anywhere in so cal and show me my problem,I'll pay ya for your trouble.

One quick and cheap thing to rule out one possible source: replace the short flex fuel line connecting the metal fuel line to your fuel pump. Ten minutes and 75 cents.
