Water temp gauge sending unit?
I'm installing an LS3 motor and wanting to use my factory dash cluster gauges on my 69 c10. I know I have to use and adapter for the head threads, but will any sending unit work with my gauges or is there a special sending unit for this application?
Anyone,anyone?

Re: Water temp gauge sending unit?
I saw where someone drilled and tapped the flat spot on a 5.3 ls water pump and used a stock temp sensor.

Re: Water temp gauge sending unit?
Over on LS1 tech, guys are just drilling and tapping the sending unit hole in the head for the larger old style sending unit.
