door not locking
my driver's side door on my "new" blazer does not lock. i push down the door lock and close the door but when it closes the lock pops back up. i then try it again only this time holding the ouside handle while pushing the button but still does not work. any advice?

Mine does the same thing on both of my doors! I thought it was normal. Kinda a factory ' can't lock your keys in the car you idiot' feature. I just lock the doors with a key. Eventually I will put remote door locks on to be lazy.

Yep, thats how my truck is. Always thought it was a bit odd that the passenger door does that too.

once it actually came in handy, i locked my door from the inside when i first got the truck, and slammed it shut, up at Kent (which is 1/2 hr away from home). then i noticed the keys werent in my pocket (where they always go) and the lights were still on too. i was gettin ready to look for a rock to break the window with, when i noticed the knob had popped up. PHEW. the keys were still hanging from the ignition. D'OH!
