Re: 12K Original Miles - '69 C-20 Grass Fire Truck
Whats it worth and true original miles are always the most controversial subjects. IMO, it is 12K. Look for things that aren't repoped. Base model seat upholstry is not reproduced. Sure, could have had a cover or someone found some NOS material, but highly unlikely. About worth. Not everyone wants a lowered SWB, but this truck will eventually sell to the right person who wants a 3/4 ton 4X4. How much work does it not need is the key question. Does not need expensive body work. This is an original in great condition, and if a collector buys it, it will stay an original in great condition. Its value will appreciate over the years. What happens to a restored truck, much more common, it becomes an older restoration over the years and will depreciate and deteriorate more rapidly than an original made with higher quality paints, plastics, vinyl, rubber and steel.
