Bucket Seat Install
Just finishing up on installation of bucket seats. Seats are from a 69 Vette. I installed the new foam and leather covers myself. It was way easier than I thought it would be. Since the seats were out of a Vette, they virtually sat right on the floor with no space at all underneath them. I built a carriage for them to be mounted on. Then decided to cover the openings on the side with plate aluminum. These were alot of fun to make and polish. Polishing is one dirty job though. Just thought I would share it with you guys.

Thanks....The seats were a little more than I thought they were going to be. I bought them on ebay for $380.00 then installed new foam $140.00, leather covers $450.00 new seat backs $65.00..Grand total $1035.00 (please don't tell my wife)..'69 Vette seats are kind of hard to find. They only made that specific style that year. I wanted them because the backs are shorter than the later stingrays. When I bought them, they had headrests. I decided to not put them on because I didn't want them to be seen through the back window...Was it worth it??? Not really but they sure are comfortable.
