Mini tub a burb?
Planning to mini tub my burb tomorrow. Any help/tips/advice/warnings would be appreciated. No experience doing this but I think it sounds fairly simple to tackle. I couldnt find much on the forum regarding burbs though so I'm hoping there are no surprises.
I have an extra pair of tubs from a burb that I plan on cutting and using to add a few inches. Let me know what you guys think!

Re: Mini tub a burb?
I think your on the right track Aaron72. I was going to widen mine with a strip of sheet metal but I ended up getting a parts burb, so I am going to do what your thinking of doing with the spare wheel wells just sectioning it in the middle, they would also have the mounting section for the floor as well..
Good luck. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Mini tub a burb?
Got everything done this weekend. Was pretty easy to do, especially with an extra set of tubs. Here are some process pics.

Re: Mini tub a burb?
Ya most likely...They are in great condition and would perfect for either doing the same thing as I did or replacing beat up ones. Ill be becoming a full member soon so I can sell some stuff soon.

Re: Mini tub a burb?
I have 22x9.5's with a 285/33/22 that tuck in there nicely now. Still figuring out the front though.

Re: Mini tub a burb?
Tubs turned out great!
Hey. Whats the reason for the tubs ? Are you going lower or is it just to give clearance for the 22's when you hit a bump? Reason i ask because when i bagged mine they still hit and i had to completely remove them Posted via Mobile Device

Ya with the backspace of my wheels +15mm they were rubbing even with a spacer on the inside of the wheel well. I just did about 1.5 - 2 inches, but there is plenty of room now for big corners and bumps.
