12 Bolt rear end with 22's
Hi Everyone,
Shane here, I haven't got my fleetside bedside panels yet to get a measurement for my rear end width. I'm running 22's in the rear 22x11 with 4.75 inches of backspace, and tires that are 305x40xR22 Nitto 420S's. The housing is a Chevy 12 bolt rear end off of my 68 C10 so is there any true measurements that you guys that are doing similar biulds have or is it an individual measuring deal? thanks, Shane |

Re: 12 Bolt rear end with 22's
Its good you have a 68 rear its about 1" narrower but i can tell you your going to be close. I run a 15" x12 wide wheel with 6.5 bs and i had to cut the lips out for clearance. Of chorse your tire wont balloon out as much but with them being that tall if your dropped any you may be in for trouble. I hope it works out for ya!
