Flexible fuel line
Hey all,
I want to start plumbing the fuel lines just to get the motor running, and maybe get it to the point where it will run around the block. All I can seem to find at the auto parts stores are the hard lines that came stock. I have a fuel filter lying around, but is an inline fuel hose filter. (it has the nipples to just slip a line on either end) Just for now, Would it be alright for me to run some fuel hose instead of the original hard line? |

Re: Flexible fuel line
I've been running flexible line from the frame to the carb for a long time. Just make sure it's the new type for ethanol fuel.

Re: Flexible fuel line
It's usually acceptable to run short pieces of hose to connect a filter. What isn't Kosher is running several feet of rubber hose rather than doing the lines correctly. You need a flexible line between where the line from the tank ends on the frame and the fuel pump to prevent the line cracking too.
