broken dip stick housing

Newbie here with a 1970 gmc step side with a 350 v8. I just purchased the truck and the dipstick housing is broken off flush with the block. Any suggestions on best way to remove the housing would be greatly appreciated.

Re: broken dip stick housing

Might also try threading a tap into it, then working it out.
