Power Brake Upgrade?
Installing a factory unit onto a 71. First question is there any difference between the manual brake pedal and the power one? When I hooked up the rod to the pedal it moved the brake pedal a lot closer to the floor. I adjusted the rod out, but it still does not hit the bump stop like it did with manual brakes.
Is this normal? The rod, and brakets all came off a 72 One other thing my truck has a clutch if that makes any difference. Thanks |

Re: Power Brake Upgrade?
The pedal on power brakes sits lower, almost even with the accelerator pedal,
which is normal. It will not hit the bumper like the manual brake setup. Jim
