WTB power drum brake booster

I don't need the master cylinder. Just the booster, and anything else I'd need to hook it up to my '69 and get it working

Thanks

Send a PM to tll74 (Tom) in Oregon. He may have what you need.

Re: WTB power drum brake booster

Mine is a C20 3/4 ton '69 with drum brakes front an back. So, I can't use a setup for disc brakes

Re: WTB power drum brake booster

mastercylinder determines drum or disc. Booster is power or not! Any 69/72 3/4 will work.

Are you sure? The 72 boosters I've seen are larger in diameter, but not as thick as the drum only 69/70 boosters I've seen

Will a 72 booster even mount to a '69 master cylinder?

Re: WTB power drum brake booster

I have one off of a 67 3/4 ton GMC. Unknown condition though, as the truck had been off the road for nearly a year. Lmk if you would like pics or more info.

Re: WTB power drum brake booster

I have one from a 1970 1/2 ton 4wd. Was driving the truck before switching to one ton. I wont be using it. Do you need just the booster or brackets and all?

I'm pretty sure half ton is a different part than 3/4 ton? I have a '69 with no power brakes, and a functional master cylinder, so I need whatever it would take to mount it and get it working

Re: WTB power drum brake booster

I think it may be the difference between a dual diaphragm and a single. My 1 ton booster is the same as my 1/2 ton. And my 1 ton does have the line reversed from the master to the prop valve. Could get pics if you want. I want to go power assist from an Astro Van or such and already switched to front disc. So this will not work for me.
