Wood beed Conversion ?
I'm worried if i use the Rubber pads between the truck frame and the bed. That The bed will be to high and the lines wont line up.
To use or not to Use ? |

Re: Wood beed Conversion ?
Used them on mine, and it looks fine. You should be okay.

Re: Wood beed Conversion ?
I am doing a steel to wood conversion. Is there any problems I may encounter? I have bought everything new for the conversion.

Re: Wood beed Conversion ?
Did you get the "L" brackets to go down the inside of the bed to bolt yer wood to? You'll probably have to tackweld them in? Don't know if they can be bolted in. Got mine from Horky's truck bed parts. You can see the one attached in the pic. The rest are laying there, awaiting installation.

Re: Wood beed Conversion ?
The inside floor angles are the same from the factory on the fleetside beds for either wood or metal floor. Why did you need to add them? The only reasons I can think of are rust or damage.
